Philomina has been a seamtress for five years and she has been with Global Mamas since July 2007. Philomina learned the trade in Nigeria as an apprentice and it has been a passion of hers ever since. Presently, she has one apprentice helping her with the sewing demands she receives from Global Mamas and other customers. Philomina sews sundresses and coin purses for Global Mamas, as well as dresses and curtains for several others. Philomina is ecstatic to know clothes she makes for Global Mamas travels all across the globe with her name written on the sale tags. It makes her so happy, that it has inspired her to someday place her own tags on the clothes she makes personally, for all others to know where the clothes came from. Currently, Philomina does not have a shop, but says she will own one very soon along a main street in her town. When Philomina is not working, she enjoys spending time with her daughter who is seven and her son who is four. Both children are attending school and loving it.
