Did you know Global Mamas has two production locations and two retail spaces throughout Ghana? Even though we are all part of the Global Mamas family, many of the producers have not met across locations. However, this year Mamas located at the Fair Trade Zone (FTZ) welcomed Mamas from Cape Coast. It was a memorable day filled with love, joy, and a deep sense of connection as the Cape Coast Mamas toured the facility and witnessed firsthand the incredible work being done.

From the architecture of the buildings to the items produced, they were truly impressed by the dedication, craftsmanship, and innovation at the FTZ. When asked about their experience, many shared the common sentiment: “Everyone needs to come here and see the amazing work being done!”

During the tour, you’ll witness ethical and sustainable manufacturing in action, including how we implement fair trade principles! You’ll try your hand at batiking, create your very own recycled glass bead bracelet, and witness sewing demonstrations with a chance to interact with Global Mamas skilled craftswomen.
